Cleveland's Mandated Changes Revisited

How is any of this going to foster unity in the rite????

FromMost changes during Mass to be optional:

"Under the new norms, all diocesan Catholics will be required to bow before receiving the Communion host.

Other proposed changes - such as standing until everyone has received Communion or raising one's arms at 'The Lord's Prayer' - are being encouraged, but not mandated.

As opposed to brief multiple handshakes, Catholics also are being asked to consider bowing toward or embracing one or two people next to them during the sign of peace, in a sober act of reconciliation. "
